It begins with a high frequency "ding" just before the low frequencies begin to fade in at a very low volume. Approximately 28 minutes later the ding is heard again, and the low frequencies begin to fade out entirely. The brain initially stores the high pitch in a frontally aware state, and references it at the end, inducing a sudden state of awareness and change in brain frequency.
The 69-73hz range is about a quarter lower than the supposed rate of our brains "idling" modulation which is somewhere around 100/104hz. A similar excercise has been tested using a 100hz freq. in one channel, and 104hz in the other, as in left and right. In my personal experience, I found this to be more stimulating than relaxing, and while quite interesting and useful for other applications, it was slightly overwhelming at sudden drops or shifts in the pitch. Using a lower than normal frequency slows our thought process down and keeps us at an even, more tranquil rate of travel which in turn empowers our thought process that much more when suddenly brought to the foreground.
The track should be listened to with headphones (preferably with decent bass response) at a low volume, comfortable enough to fall asleep to.
The hope is that this will train the brain to recognize patterns within the low frequency stasis during sleep, allowing for a more controlled awareness should one desire to beome "lucid" and otherwise contribute to a more consistent, solid, and restful sleep cycle.
D O W N L O A D
The file is a 328mb uncompressed AIFF file to assure the cleanest possible sound.
enjoy...

info@evolveandprevail.org
